Add GatorTec as a reseller. Five minutes, once.
Two numbers link your Apple Business account (formerly Apple Business Manager) to GatorTec: our Reseller ID, which you add once, and your Organization ID, which you send us. After that, every Mac and iPad you buy from us is enrolled as it ships.
Before you start
You need an Apple Business account for your organization. It's free: apply at business.apple.com. Apple verifies the organization first (it asks for your D-U-N-S number), which can take a few days. Apple has renamed Apple Business Manager to Apple Business; it's the same service, and older guides still use the old name.
Step 1: add our Reseller ID
- Sign in at business.apple.com with an account that's allowed to manage device suppliers (usually an administrator).
- Go to Devices > Inventory and select Get Started, or Add if you've added a supplier before.
- Choose Reseller Number as the type, enter 5559440, and confirm.
On the older Apple Business Manager layout, the same setting is under your name, then Preferences > Device Management Service Assignment, next to Customer Numbers.
Step 2: send us your Organization ID
In Apple Business, go to Settings > Organization and copy the Organization ID under Details. Send it to your account manager, or include it with your next order. We keep it on your account, so you only send it once.
Step 3: point new devices at your MDM
In Apple Business, choose your MDM (device management service) as the default for Mac and iPad, so enrolled devices go to it automatically. Your MDM's setup guide shows where.
What happens next
When an order ships, we submit its serial numbers to Apple. The devices appear in your Apple Business inventory, assigned to your MDM, so they set themselves up with your apps and settings the first time they're turned on.

Is Apple Business Manager the same as Apple Business?
Yes. Apple has renamed Apple Business Manager to Apple Business. It also replaced the old Device Enrollment Program (DEP).
Does adding GatorTec give you access to our account?
No. Our Reseller ID only lets us submit the devices you buy from us to Apple. We can't see or change anything else in your account.
What about devices we already have?
Devices you bought from GatorTec earlier can be added too: send your account manager the serial numbers.
